PS3 mad dash has begun

With the PS3 scheduled to be released November 17th, and the pre-orders already sold out, the throngs of rich misguided (see: bastards) members of societies try to jump on the chance to guarantee themselves the new hotness (see: keeping up with the Jones') this winter.

What does this mean to you and me? Basically, we can sell our PS3 reserves on Ebay for around $1200. Yes that's right, these sick individuals are selling their reserved systems already. I kind of want to be sick. The XBOX 360 had a similar ebay frolick after release, but it was more contained (ie: only a few systems sold for prices above 1k)
