Idolm@aster XBOX 360!

January 25 2007 Namco's Idolm@ster will be hitting Japanese shelves for the xbox360. Don't be turned off by the name, this game is a hardcore..... girl band sim... ahem... yes, so the game is based on the player controlling would-be J-Pop singers, bringing them to singer boot camp to learn to sing, dance and pose with the best, like Koda Kumi.

The game has a collector's edition, complete with art book and pvc model diorama complete with 11 figures so that you can have your girls sing both on screen and off. Christ that's scary. I can just picture the lonely male otaku naming all of his dolls, creating elaborate histories for them, and punishing the dolls when their on screen counterparts mess up.

I'd like to pretend I don't have any ideas what "punishment" could be, it's less scary that way.
