Sony up a creek without a paddle... oo puns!

Sony's chief financial officer, Nobuyuki Oneda, has warned that the games sector "is weak" and presents "a major challenge" after the company posted a drop in profit of more than 90 per cent.

Alright all you naysayers who didn't believe me when I said Sony is currently up the proverbial creek... take it, take it hard.

According to Oneda, the company saw a drop in profits from YEN 28.5 billion (239 million USD) to YEN 1.7 billion (14 million USD).

The big culprits to the lose in money? 9.8 million laptop battery recalls, and PS3 manufacturing costs.

*crosses fingers for Sony*
